Confirmed configuration
SeeEnergy operation has been confirmed on the stated installation.
Our compatibility checks identify 3.6 kW and 5 kW hybrid models, plus the 3 kW AC-coupled model, as expected matches for our replacement adaptor, subject to installation checks. We check the exact model, firmware and connection before confirming an installation.
SeeEnergy operation has been confirmed on the stated installation.
The model is expected to be compatible. We still need to confirm your exact inverter, connection and readings.
Support for this model or complete system has not yet been confirmed.
Compatibility information updated 7 September 2026. Expected model matches remain subject to individual installation checks.
Manufacturer links describe the equipment. The expected matches below still require confirmation for the exact installation.
CONFIRMED CONFIGURATION
SeeEnergy operation has been confirmed on one 5 kW single-phase hybrid installation using its removable USB connection. We check the exact model, firmware and connection before confirming another installation.

Support for these model families is not yet available. Contact SeeEnergy with your exact model before choosing an adaptor.
A separate connection solution would be required.
NOT A RELEASED OPTION
Original dongle reprogramming is not a released self-service option. Contact SeeEnergy to confirm the right connection option before changing your existing hardware.
Confirm the right option with us first.
NO STANDALONE SUPPORT
Current battery readings come through a supported inverter. We do not offer a standalone battery connection to SeeEnergy.
A battery model alone does not establish a direct cloud connection.
Matching readings are a starting point. Charging controls, optional meters, batteries and other functions are checked separately.
Inverters with different power ratings can belong to the same product family. Compatibility still needs checking for the exact model, installed inverter firmware and readings. A lower power rating does not guarantee compatibility with another model family.
Tell us whether your existing dongle is removable and whether it worked previously. Use visible labels and your documentation. Any change behind a cover must follow the exact installation instructions through your installer.
AC 3.0 is the 3 kW AC-coupled battery inverter in the UK documents. HY 3.6 is the smaller hybrid with direct solar inputs. Send the full model label, not only its power rating.
Use the details already visible on your equipment, its label or your documentation. If a firmware version is unavailable, send the model and dongle details first.
The full model name, rated power and whether it is single-phase or three-phase. A clear photo of the model label is useful.
Any firmware versions shown in the equipment menu, app or documentation. Send the inverter version exactly as it is shown.
Tell us which dongle is currently fitted, whether it is removable, and whether that connection worked previously. A photo of the outside of the dongle helps identify it.
Send those details to sales@seeenergy.net. We will confirm the route before you choose an adaptor.
The SeeEnergy USB Adaptor uses 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n). Check that 2.4 GHz coverage is available where the inverter is installed.
The verified adaptor route connects through home Wi-Fi directly to SeeEnergy. An on-premises bridge is not required for that route.
Pro and Enterprise include access to your account data on approved displays. Screens are sold separately and available to purchase.
